Rumors about Xiaomi 12 Ultra have been circulating for several months. The company launched its flagship line in late 2021 and introduced it to global markets earlier this year. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will also be the first smartphone under a new partnership between Xiaomi and Leica. The flagship is expected to arrive in July.
In the meantime, we will treat you to another batch of rumors. So, the 12 Ultra will use basically the same camera hardware as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. These are the main 50 MP camera with OIS, 48 MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom and ultra-wide angle module, also 48 MP. The only additional module might be a 3D ToF sensor.
The 20 MP selfie camera is likely the same as on the last year’s model. While the display is likely taken from the more recent Xiaomi 12 Pro – a 6.7″ 120Hz LTPO AMOLED panel with a QHD+ resolution. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 8 GB/12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB/512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage will be installed “under the hood”. The phone will run on MIUI 13 based on Android 12. All this will be powered by a 4800 mAh battery with a support for 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.
