According to these rumours that are publicized by the folks at MySmartPrice in collaboration with OnLeaks, the coming device will bring some design changes. One of these changes will be that the Pixel 9 Pro will launch with flat edges that slightly curve into the display. The camera cutout will also get some refinements according to the renders, as they might no longer touch both ends of the device’s rear panel.
Another change that these renders is that Google might move the SIM tray to the base of the device. This means that we should expect the SIM tray on the coming Pixel 9 Pro to sit next to the charging port. Looking at the Pixel 6, Pixel 7, and Pixel 8 series, this SIM tray positioning is one that no one might have expected.
The tipsters go on to point out that the Pixel 9 Pro will be slightly slimmer than its predecessor. Additionally, it might also feature a smaller screen size, measuring 6.5 inches, which is a reduction in comparison with its predecessor. However, the positioning of the power button and volume rockers will stay the same in typical Google Pixel fashion.
