-

In the smartphone community, leaks are inevitable for some brands and the latest on the trend are the Google Pixel 9 Pro renders. Google Pixel is one brand that can’t just seem to keep the cat in the bag regarding their products in the pipeline. Now netizens are getting a glimpse of what the coming Pixel 9 Pro will have to offer in terms of design with new changes and upgrades.

It’s good to note that these renders are in no way official, as they depict rumours about the coming device. According to these rumours that are publicized by the folks at MySmartPrice in collaboration with OnLeaks, the coming device will bring some design changes. One of these changes will be that the Pixel 9 Pro will launch with flat edges that slightly curve into the display. The camera cutout will also get some refinements according to the renders, as they might no longer touch both ends of the device’s rear panel.

Another change that these renders is that Google might move the SIM tray to the base of the device. This means that we should expect the SIM tray on the coming Pixel 9 Pro to sit next to the charging port. Looking at the Pixel 6, Pixel 7, and Pixel 8 series, this SIM tray positioning is one that no one might have expected.

The tipsters go on to point out that the Pixel 9 Pro will be slightly slimmer than its predecessor. Additionally, it might also feature a smaller screen size, measuring 6.5 inches, which is a reduction in comparison with its predecessor. However, the positioning of the power button and volume rockers will stay the same in typical Google Pixel fashion.

From the renders, we can see that Google might stick to the same camera and flash placements available on the Pixel 8 series. These renders are now making the rounds in the smartphone community and raising a ton of questions. We are still months away from the launch of the Pixel 9 series, so there might be some adjustments or entirely new renders of the series’ devices.
