Minecraft PE 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90: New additions of the Caves & Cliffs Update!

MCPE update 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90 Caves & Cliffs is finally showing its full scale. A large number of new elements is already in the game. The newest version of Minecraft PE 2021 added three new blocks, a spyglass, a lightning rod, candles and more. So far, they function correctly and there are no issues with their use.

Lightning rod

To protect your buildings and yourself from lightning, a lightning rod was added to the new Minecraft PE 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90. Not a single lightning will pass by this object. You can craft it using 3 copper ingots.

A lightning strike in the mountain and cave update Minecraft 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90 emits energy equal to a redstone. The lightning receiving area is 16 x 4. The lightning rod can receive a lightning strike, but it cannot prevent a fire. Therefore, it is recommended to install it in units that are resistant to fire.

Candles

Candles in Minecraft PE 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90 have not only decorative value, but are also functional. You can only take them in Creative mode so far.

You can light it with a lighter, or flint. One press is enough for the candle to go out. They are a weak light source, but in large quantities form good lighting.

Copper ore

The new Copper ore in the fresh Minecraft version 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90 is almost completely similar to the iron one. They are at the same height and have the same amount of drop. For mining it is enough to use a stone pickaxe.

From the mined ingots, you can craft a spyglass or a lightning rod. In addition, a copper block can be collected from them. At the moment, in Minecraft PE version 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90, it is only decorative, but it has unique qualities.

Like, for example, oxidation. The color of the copper block changes according to weathering. To stop rusting, you need to use a honeycomb.

Tinted glass

Tinted glass in Minecraft 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90 absorbs any light sources within reach. The absorption rate depends on the amount of tinted glass.

You can also use it to direct the light, or weaken it. But despite this, you can see through it.

Spyglass

The Spyglass is a new item in Minecraft PE 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90 that allows you to increase your vision range. You can craft it from fragments of amethyst and copper.

The field of view will increase by 7 blocks. When using this item, the player will have a small circle in the center through which you can look.

Amethyst Blocks

Amethyst in Minecraft PE 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90 has a purple color and tons of multitasking potential. What makes it unique is that it has 4 different types and all have their own functions.

The extraction of this block in Minecraft PE 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90 is feasible with an iron pickaxe. If you get it, you can get amethyst crystals. They are very useful, because they can be used to craft a lot of things.

Clusters are a very interesting object in the new version of Minecraft 1.17.30, 1.17.60 and 1.17.90. You can save them during mining only with a weapon with a silk touch. Amethyst clusters have 4 stages of growth, namely:

• small;
• middle;
• large;
• clusters of amethyst.
