Last year, Xiaomi released a new smartphone — probably the most stylish in the brand’s lineup. Today, the manufacturer introduced a new model, namely Xiaomi Civi 1S. Compared to the previous generation, it has an updated chip and camera. Prices start at $357 for the 8 + 128 GB version and up to $450 for the 12 + 256 GB version.
The Xiaomi Civi 1S is available in four color options: Miracle Sunshine, Sparkling Black, Gently Blue, and Pummeling Pink. By the way, the Miracle Sunshine name was chosen by Xiaomi users. The whole series is already available for sale.
The Xiaomi Civi 1S is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor. This makes the phone run much smoother than its predecessor. The overall speed increased by 27%. In addition, it also comes with LPDDR4X memory as well as UFS 2.2 flash memory. To ensure better performance, the Xiaomi Civi 1S is equipped with a graphite-based cooling system with a total cooling area of 10202 mm².
According to data published by Xiaomi, the phone can run the Honor of Kings 90fps mode for 3 hours, with an average frame rate of 87.7 fps and a maximum temperature of 42.6°C.
The Xiaomi Civi 1S is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery that supports fast charging of 55 watts (full charge in 45 minutes). The phone is 6.98 mm thick and weighs 166 g. It has a Z-axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers, and dual Hi-Res authentication. Of course, it supports NFC, IR remote controls and more. Finally, this phone comes with a MIUI 13 system out of the box.
As for the display, the Xiaomi Civi 1S still uses a 6.55-inch curved OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 × 1080. The latter supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling frequency of 240 Hz, a brightness of 800 nits, a color depth of 10 bits.
The front-facing camera is a 32 MP lens. It supports a micro-slit double soft light mode as well as 4D light-chasing beauty technology. In addition, it supports human eye tracking. The rear camera includes a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP lens and a 2 MP lens.
