Following the publication of small parts of the back of the phone as a teaser earlier this week, Nothing has finally revealed the design of the back of Nothing Phone (1). It shows a double rear camera, located vertically, as well as an LED-flash on the side. You can also see the physical control buttons on the sides.
The phone has a transparent back cover, and the design resembles the case of Nothing Ear (1) in white. It also shows a large wireless charging coil in the middle. The capacity of the battery, according to available information, will be 4500 mAh.
The phone has a design similar to the latest iPhone models, with a flat edges reminiscent of iPhone 12. When magnified at the bottom of the rear panel, the model number A063 is displayed along with the text Nothing Technology Limited and the inscription Great Britain.
Previously the company released a video showing Phone (1) behind the scenes with Tom Howard, co-founder of Akis and CEO Carl Pei. Although most of the places where the phone appears in the video have been blurred, the places where the phone is visible show how big it will be.
The company has already confirmed that Nothing Phone (1) will not have a frame under the screen. According to rumors, the phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 64-megapixel wide camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, 20-megapixel front camera and, as we said, a 4500 mAh battery with support for fast 65W wired charging. According to other rumors, it will also receive a 6.55-inch display with 1080×2400 resolution (FullHD+) and a refresh rate of 90 or 120 Hz. The amount of storage will be at least 128GB.
The full reveal of the phone is expected on July 12. That’s when we’ll find out if the rumors were true.
