What’s in the box

The headset comes in a large cardboard box with a signature black and red Bloody design. On the box we have a list of the features of the headset. There is also a transparent window through which you can appreciate the glory of Bloody G528C. There’s also a warranty card, and nothing else.

Design, materials and build quality

When deactivated, A4Tech Bloody G528C is not much to look at. However, it’s worth connecting it to a computer, as then the logo and the ring will begin to sparkle with all the colors of the rainbow. It’s a gaming headset alright.

Two flat cups are connected together by two flat but strong metal arcs. Under them is a headband of soft eco-leather, at the top of which there is a Bloody embossment, and at the ends, on plastic overlays, L and R markings.

Inside the headband there is a wire connecting the cups and soft foam. The headband is adjusted depending on the size of the head itself – you just need to put on a headset and it will rise to the required level.

Closer to the cups are massive decorative elements with screws, which manage to imitate “aggression” and power. But the parts themselves are made of matte plastic.

The cups are large, made of matte plastic of good quality. In the middle, between the widest and narrowest sides, there is a texture in the form of circular notches. In the center in the recess, as I already noted, is an iridescent logo. This is all ringed in a luminous circle.

Inside the cups we can see a fabric septum. The ear pads are large and soft, covered in artificial leather. On the left side there is a microphone and a connection cable output, as well as a volume control wheel at the back.

The microphone hole is located at the end, but since the cable itself is flexible, it can be rotated in virtually any direction. The wire is in a transparent silicone sheath, and the output has solid rubber bend protection.

There’s a black two-meter cable in a fabric braid. I think it will be durable. Closer to the plug there is a ferrite filter, and USB itself is located in a massive and rough shell. Through only one plug the speakers, the microphone, and the RGB backlight all work.

Despite the dimensions, the weight of the headphones is only 300 grams. You can wear them for long periods of time, but my ears tended to become covered with sweat after an hour or two of play. And this is perhaps the only significant problem of the headset.

Unfortunately, the microphone is not removable. This is the prerogative of more expensive models. But now you can easily adjust it to the desired position. And secondly, bend it so that it completely disappears from sight.

A4Tech Bloody G528C Sound

The speakers are 50 mm with a neodymium magnet, the frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, the sensitivity is 105 dB and the impedance is 16 Ohms. Design: two-chamber, plus 7.1 virtual surround sound.

I generally liked the headset. The sound is clean and well balanced in frequency. There is no preponderance to the low or high frequencies. The headset will fit virtually any style of music. The volume margin is just excellent; I have no idea who might need more. The sound insulation is normal, but I did not feel any incredible “immersion”. Although if you make the sound louder, then the clicks of the mouse and keyboard, most likely, will disappear. Of course, for everything else (movies, videos, podcasts) this headset is also a good option.

But at the same time, this headset is not universal. At least due to the fact that there is a USB plug, so it can’t be connected to a smartphone. The headset is made for PCs and games. It was in the latter that I mainly tested A4Tech Bloody G528C.

CS:GO clearly defines the position of the enemy and the direction from which he is approaching. The single player titles with high-quality sound design are especially good.

Voice quality and features

A lot of promotional materials talked in length about the microphone. Its frequency range is 100 Hz – 10 KHz, sensitivity is 33 dB. It, according to the manufacturer, is omnidirectional and with double noise reduction. As for the quality, it’s nothing special. I mean it’s suitable for voice communication with friends during a network game, where the clearness of the voice is not particularly important.

As for noise reduction, in general it’s not bad. Only the voice of the person who speaks into the microphone will be heard. If someone else is talking in the same room, this is not a problem, the second voice is easily cut off. However, loud keyboards can be heard from time to time.

What are the features of Bloody G528C? It is important to know that you cannot turn off or adjust the backlight. It will work continuously while the headset is connected to the PC. The iridescent effect is not varied – just clockwise smooth transitions. It is worth noting the high-quality implementation of the backlight.

Also, this headset does not support the additional software. In order to somehow fine-tune and adjust the sound, only third-party utilities or standard Windows 10 tools remain.

A4Tech Bloody G528C

A4Tech Bloody G528C is a high-quality gaming headset that features a cool design, RGB lights, and most importantly, good sound. All this is offered for relatively little money, so it can be safely recommended for purchase.

The only things I didn’t enjoy is the average quality of the microphone, the lack of software or the ability to adjust the backlight. But then again, it’s all fine considering the cost.
