Google Pixel 8a gets its Bluetooth SIG certification as its launch approaches

-

As we draw closer to the Google Pixel 8a official launch, more details on the device continue to emerge. We’ve also seen a couple of certifications that this device has bagged, with the most recent being the Bluetooth SIG certification. From the certification, we can see that this device will launch with four design model numbers.

The design model numbers on this device are the G8HNN, GKV4X, G6GPR, and G576D. All these model numbers will launch with Bluetooth 5.3 support for connectivity. There might be little or no difference between the various design model numbers that are shown on this device’s Bluetooth SIG certification.

According to available reports on this device, we see that it’ll launch with four colour options. These colours are already available on the current Pixel 8 series, and they are Mint, Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain. Because Google introduced a new colour option this year, the Minty Green, it’s great to also see this option come to the Pixel 8a device at launch.

As for this device’s launch date, there’s no exact date from our sources. However, we can expect to see this device hit the launch stage in May. So technically, we’re only a few weeks away from the official launch of the Google Pixel 8a series.

This device might make an appearance at the Google I/O event, spotting the Tensor G3 processor. For full details on the specifications of this coming device, you can check out this article. As we approach the exact launch date of this device, more details on its specifications and features will hit the internet.
