Exclusive information about the foldable Motorola Razr 3 codenamed “maven” has appeared online. The photo shows that the new phone will receive a more square-shaped design. An internal display is also rumoured to change, with hole-punch taking the place of the notch, while an external one will remain mostly unchanged.
The main camera of the Motorola Razr 3 is expected to have a 50 MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. It will be complemented by a 13 MP ultrawide sensor. The selfie camera will receive a resolution of 13 MP. In the heart of a smartphone we expect Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 – a massive step up from the Snapdragon 765G in the Razr 5G. But reportedly there will be more expensive version with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus (SM8475), however, disruptions with chipsets production may affect the plans to release more powerful version.
We’re expecting at least two configurations of the smartphone with 8 and 12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of storage. The internal display is rumoured to be a 6.7″ OLED, with 120Hz refresh rate. Support for both NFC and Ultra Wide Band is also expected.
The foldable Motorola Razr 3 will be available in two colors: Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue. In Asia, the smartphone should be introduced sometime in late July or early August, and the global release will take place shortly thereafter.
