Snapdragon X Plus has leaked, and it brings a ton of impressive features

-

Qualcomm is preparing to launch the Snapdragon X Plus processor for Windows devices. This coming processor will be the second of its kind from Qualcomm, as its details have finally leaked. From the details that we have, this coming processor will have 10 CPU cores and up to 42MB of cache.

For its NPU this coming Windows system processor will launch with over 45 TOPS worth of performance. While this processor is yet to launch, it will be the less powerful variant of the already existing Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite line-up of processors. From our sources, we learn that this coming processor will be close in stats to the Snapdragon X Elite base entry.

Snapdragon X Plus

Unlike this coming processor, the Snapdragon X Elite line-up comes with 12 cores for more performance. The coming Snapdragon X Plus will also give up on the Qualcomm Oryon CPU Dual Core boost system. It will also feature a maximum multithread frequency of 3.4GHz, which is on par with most processors in the Snapdragon X Elite line-up.

Despite being less powerful than the already existing Windows processors from Qualcomm, the coming Snapdragon X Plus packs a punch. The benchmarks on this coming processor are already available at this moment, and we see some impressive scores on this processor. For Geekbench 6.2 we see a 13.1k top score and for 3DMark Wild Life Extreme this processor gets 37.1-38.5 fps.

These are both impressive scores for this processor that is yet to launch. According to our sources, brands like Lenovo and Samsung are already looking to make use of this processor. We expect this processor to make an official entry later this year.
