Casio has introduced a special version of the G-Shock watch dedicated to the Chinese city of Harbin. The GA-2100AS-2APRH model is based on the GA-2100 series and features a blue design with a translucent dial. The main functions include world time, stopwatch and several daily alarms.
The new model, called Harbin City Edition, is aimed at the Chinese market and is dedicated to the capital of Heilongjiang province. The design of the model is inspired by the theme of ice and snow. The watch is based on the GA-2100AS-2A, introduced in early 2025, and features a dark blue resin case and strap with a translucent blue-green dial.
The special version features a strap with a cracked ice pattern, Ice City inscription at the top of the lower strap, a decorative G pin with a snowflake, and branded themed packaging.
The technical specifications of the GA-2100AS-2APRH fully correspond to the basic model. The watch is equipped with two analog hands and a small digital display to show the date and additional information. Among the functions are a stopwatch with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second, an hourly alarm, a countdown timer, and five daily alarms. The model is water resistant to 200 meters and has a battery life of up to 3 years.
The GA-2100 series, which is expanded by the Harbin City Edition, has already gained popularity among Casio fans thanks to the combination of the classic G-Shock shockproof construction with a modern design. The basic models in this series have an octagonal carbon fiber case for strength and lightness, and, as mentioned above, water resistance to 200 meters, making them versatile for sports, outdoor activities, and everyday use. The GA-2100 is noted for its compact dimensions (approximately 48.5 × 45.4 × 11.8 mm) and weight of about 51 g, making it one of the thinnest and most comfortable models in the G-Shock line.
The Casio G-Shock Harbin City Edition GA-2100AS-2APRH will be available for about $142. The model is expected to be released in a limited edition.
