During the next@acer global press conference at the IFA 2026 trade show in Berlin, Acer unveiled a new addition to its portfolio of portable gaming devices – the Predator Atlas 7 console. At the same event, the company also unveiled the Project DualPlay Mini concept, which combines the functions of a portable gaming device and a mobile workstation.
The Predator Atlas 7 (PA07-I51) is designed for gamers who want flagship Predator performance in a more compact form factor. The device is equipped with up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor and up to Intel Arc B390 graphics, and, when paired with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, it allows users to play demanding games from a library of hundreds of titles and take full advantage of Windows 11’s capabilities.

To maintain high performance, the Predator Atlas 7 features a dual-fan cooling system. One of them is a metal Predator AeroBlade with 89 blades just 0.1 mm thick, which provides up to 10% more airflow. It works in tandem with a plastic fan, and Vortex Flow technology uses internal angled channels to more efficiently expel hot air from the chassis. The console is equipped with a battery with a capacity of up to 80 Wh.

The Predator Atlas 7’s design emphasizes intuitive control. Contoured grips, an enlarged palm rest, recessed buttons, and a textured surface help you hold the device securely and control it more precisely during long gaming sessions. The joysticks feature TMR technology, which provides greater precision, ease of use, and protection against drift without dead zones. Analog triggers with the Hall effect support game genres where a wider travel range and varying levels of pressure are important. Additionally, the power button is equipped with a fingerprint scanner for authentication via Windows Hello.
The Predator Atlas 7 features a 7-inch FHD touchscreen display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with a DXC surface coating, which enhances scratch resistance and reduces glare. The package also includes a tempered glass screen protector. The touchscreen supports 10-point multitouch for quick interaction across the entire display area.

The device is designed with a focus on speed, stability, and scalability. It is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports for connecting docks, displays, and accessories, and UHS-II microSD support allows you to expand storage capacity. Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 provide connectivity via the latest wireless standards. And with the PredatorSense app, you can monitor system status in real time, select performance modes, and customize RGB lighting and game settings.
DTS Ultra, combined with two 2-watt speakers, delivers high-quality sound, making the gaming audio experience wider, more detailed, and more immersive. Two microphones with Acer PurifiedVoice technology use AI to reduce noise, ensuring clear communication.
The brand also unveiled an interesting concept – the 8-inch Project DualPlay Mini, which reimagines the possibilities of the gaming laptop format. Instead of focusing on a single function, the concept can be used both as a portable gaming device and as a mobile workstation.

For gaming, the Project DualPlay Mini offers two control options. The built-in backlit physical keyboard enables traditional laptop mode, which is suitable for first-person shooters, while handheld gaming mode provides a console-like experience for other genres. In a work scenario, the device functions as a mobile computer that can be connected to an external display.
Project DualPlay Mini features a flip-and-rotate mechanism, making it easy to “switch” between console and mini-laptop modes. In honor of Acer’s 50th anniversary, the back cover features the inscription “Acer 50 since 1976,” encoded in Morse code.

The concept device is powered by Intel and uses a dual-fan cooling system similar to the one found in the Predator Atlas 8. It consists of one metal Predator AeroBlade fan and one plastic fan, though the metal fan in the Project DualPlay Mini has thinner blades.
The Predator Atlas 7 will be available in North America starting in the fourth quarter of 2026 and in the EMEA region starting in November 2026. Project DualPlay Mini currently exists only as a concept.
