Ukraine’s rapidly growing arsenal of maritime drones is being supplemented by a new unmanned surface platform designed to perform a wide range of tasks and capable of operating in an active electronic warfare environment. Developed by the Crocus Manufacturing Company, the Lilia is positioned as a versatile system suitable for reconnaissance, supply, patrol and other special operations in both coastal areas and inland waterways.

A key feature of Lilia’s design is its modular approach, which allows for quick configuration changes depending on specific tasks. In addition to basic surveillance and patrolling functions, the platform can be adapted for logistics operations, evacuation of the wounded, and engineering work, including mine clearance and demining. This versatility makes it possible to use the drone as part of amphibious operations and to carry out specialized missions both along the coast and on rivers.

According to the manufacturer, the platform is designed to be integrated into larger military formations as production increases, which opens up the prospect of its use in coordinated operations, including escorting larger vessels. The tactical range is 80 km, which allows it to perform tasks at a considerable distance from the coastline.

The drone can be controlled remotely via Starlink or LTE communication channels, allowing operators to monitor the drone from a distance. The manufacturer also emphasizes that Lilia operates effectively in the face of active electronic warfare, which is a critical factor in modern conflicts.

According to Militarny, the platform has already passed field tests in cooperation with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the tests, the drone demonstrated the ability to perform tasks in conditions as close to combat as possible. Although the details of its use are not disclosed, the successful tests indicate that the system has moved from the development stage to preparation for wider deployment.

The Lilia drone is currently available through the Ukrainian defense technology platform Brave1 Market, which combines developments in military innovation and procurement. The manufacturer’s announcement emphasizes the system’s readiness for integration into combat units with the expansion of production capacity, indicating its potentially prominent role in future operations.

These developments are part of a broader trend toward unmanned maritime technology, with drones being used, among other things, to attack Russian maritime targets. The addition of a new modular and multifunctional platform demonstrates the further diversification of Ukraine’s approach to maritime warfare.

With the expansion of production and further development of the Lilia, its ability to adapt to different types of missions and operate in an electronic warfare environment could make this drone an important element of Ukraine’s future maritime strategy.
