The German technology news publication WinFuture created a stir on the Internet when it published all the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus flagships, and then also added the parameters of the “king of the line” – the S23 Ultra. A reliable source confirmed some of the leaks that appeared earlier, and also told something new about the upcoming smartphones.
Over the past few months, we have been gathering information bit by bit – design, renders, some parameters, rumors about cameras. Now a reliable source has published a list of important specifications of future Samsung flagships. First, there is confirmation of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a triple rear camera (50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP 3x telephoto), 8GB of RAM, IP68 protection, and wireless charging in basic version.
Secondly, it will be equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a resolution of FHD+ and a frequency of 120 Hz (with the possibility of lowering to 48 Hz) and a battery with a capacity of 3900 mAh with a wired charge of 25 W. The Plus version, meanwhile, reportedly offers a 6.6-inch OLED panel with FHD+ 120Hz resolution and a 4,700mAh battery with 45W wired charging.
The source claims that the base model will have 128GB or 256GB of storage, while the S23 Plus will have 256GB or 512GB of storage. It also seems that the selfie camera will be updated in both models and will receive a 12-megapixel sensor with autofocus and support for 4K/60 frames per second. In addition, the source notes that the cameras on the back have a maximum resolution of 8K/30fps or 4K/60fps. Other claimed specs include Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the screens, and Android 13-based One UI 5.1.
As for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the source confirmed previous statements about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with a clock frequency of 3.36 GHz, 8 and 12 GB of RAM, a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3088×1440 and a frequency 120 Hz (and the ability to reduce it to 1 Hz) and a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh with support for wired charging with a power of 45 W.
