Blackview has officially announced the global debut of its new rugged smartphone, packed with impressive features. Leveraging 13 years of expertise, the company has created an exceptionally durable and long-lasting device with AI-powered services. The Blackview XPLORE 1 stands out with its massive 20,000 mAh battery, dual displays, and reinforced body. It’s designed not only for outdoor adventures and extreme activities but also for demanding work environments where regular smartphones simply can’t cope.

The XPLORE 1 meets the highest durability standards with IP68/IP69K certification and MIL-STD-810H compliance. According to the manufacturer, it can survive drops from heights of up to 6 meters, withstand loads of over 500 kg, and remain submerged in water at depths of 2 meters for up to 30 minutes. A waterproof USB port without protective flaps, a display shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, an aerospace-grade aluminum frame, and a reinforced rubberized body provide up to four times greater drop resistance. The phone is also built to handle extreme temperatures, operating reliably from -20°C to +60°C. For use in dark environments, it comes equipped with a powerful dual LED flashlight rated at 170 lumens.

The device runs on Doke AI 2.0 and supports three current AI models: DeepSeek R1, ChatGPT-4o mini, and Gemini 2.0 Flash. It offers voice control and system-level smart management. Four AI-based apps come preinstalled – Hi Doki, ImageX, VidGen, and Soundle – covering functions such as answering questions, editing images, creating videos, and generating music. These tools may be useful for users who travel frequently or work in the field.

The XPLORE 1 features a 6.78-inch main display with 2.4K resolution and a peak brightness of 700 nits. It comes with TÜV SÜD certification, which indicates reduced blue light emission to lessen eye strain. The screen supports an AI-driven adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, aiming to keep the interface smooth. On the back, there’s a secondary 2.01-inch display that can show notifications, assist with selfies, and provide quick access to key information.

The phone is equipped with a 20,000 mAh battery, rated for up to 23 hours of continuous use or up to 42 days on standby. It supports 55W wired fast charging and an optional 45W dock charging solution. There’s also reverse charging functionality, allowing the device to act as a power bank for other gadgets.

The Blackview XPLORE 1 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor and scored 601,430 points in AnTuTu. It comes with 16 GB of physical RAM, expandable virtually up to 48 GB, and 512 GB of storage, which can be increased with a memory card up to 2 TB. A cooling system with a surface area of 5,480 mm² helps maintain performance under load, while Wi-Fi 6 support provides faster and more stable connectivity.

The phone features a 64 MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture, capable of capturing detailed images in challenging lighting conditions. It also includes a 20 MP night vision camera for low-light photography and a 50 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The camera system supports 4K video recording.

The XPLORE 1 runs DokeOS 4.2, based on Android 15, which includes a Focus Mode, a Privacy Space feature, and an updated Notebook 2.0. The manufacturer guarantees at least three years of Android updates. For navigation, the phone supports dual-frequency GPS (L1 + L5), as well as BeiDou and Galileo systems, while NFC enables convenient payments and data transfer. Blackview provides a 24-month warranty and round-the-clock technical support.

To mark the global launch, Blackview is offering a special promotion: until September 5, the XPLORE 1 is available for $259.99, down from the standard price of $539.98. The device can be purchased at this discounted price now through the official Blackview store on AliExpress.
