OnePlus 12 promotional video shows off the device’s design and colour options

-

The OnePlus 12 promotional video is now available on the internet ahead of its official launch. From this video, netizens can see the design of this coming device along with its colour options. In addition to this promotional video, the brand has released some images of the device, anticipating its official launch.

From the promotional video and images, it’s clear that the device’s design won’t be so different from its predecessor. Just like the already existing OnePlus 11, the coming device from the smartphone company will feature a circular rear camera cutout. This cutout will house three rear cameras and two sensors and it’ll be the first of its kind.

The coming OnePlus 12 will be the first smartphone from the brand to launch with a periscope lens. This periscope lens will replace the telephoto camera that was in use on the OnePlus 11. Another change that’ll be coming to the rear camera island will be the position of the LED flash.

Unlike with the previous OnePlus 11, the LED flash on the OnePlus 12 will no longer sit on the camera island. It’ll move over to the shiny trim that runs around the camera island and into the edges of the smartphone. Regardless of this design change, the OnePlus 12 will still launch with four cutouts on the camera island.

In the fourth cutout will sit two sensors, which are the RGB sensor and the 3D ToF sensor. These sensors will also be making their debut on the OnePlus flagship smartphone series. With these and the introduction of the periscope lens, this new device from OnePlus promises fans great photography abilities.

Moving over to the screen of the device the video shows off a curved screen with a center selfie camera cutout. On the sides will be the power button, volume rocker keys as well and a silence slider. Other design details on this device from the promotional video and images include the colour options which are green, white, and black.

Previous leaks show off a possible wooden finish on this smartphone, which might also be present at launch. Its specifications will be available in the days leading up to the device’s launch event. This launch will take place in China next month before its global launch, which will take place in January next year.
