The OnePlus Pad tablet debuted on the global market in February last year. In October last year, the brand introduced a budget and simple OnePlus Pad Go model for the Indian market. OnePlus seems to be working on a Pad 2, as we should be getting a successor to the brand’s existing tablet by now. Now, the dates of the launch of the future novelty have become known.

Informant Max Jambor on Twitter reports that the OnePlus Pad 2 will hit the market in the second half of 2024. However, he does not mention any other details about the tablet. Recall that the first generation OnePlus Pad was released in China as the OPPO Pad 2 a month after the global launch of the first. It remains to be seen if the coming tablet from the Chinese brand can do the same.
Rumours about the OPPO Pad 3 have been buzzing around the web lately. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. If it turns out to be true, it will receive a significant upgrade over its SoC-equipped predecessor Dimensity 9000. Last month, the same insider also said that the OPPO Pad 3 could arrive in the second quarter of this year, which is between April and June.
We’ll have to wait and see which comes first, the OnePlus Pad 2 or the OPPO Pad 3. The two tablets are expected to be similar, with the former being available globally and the latter being limited to its home market.
