The Honor Watch 6 smartwatch has officially debuted on the European market, beginning its expansion in the United Kingdom and Germany. Prior to this, the device – known as the Watch 6 Plus – had already been unveiled in China last month. The main advantages of this new model are its incredible battery life and specialized fitness tracking features, which are simply unmatched in this price range.
The gadget is currently available at a very attractive introductory price thanks to a special discount that will be valid until mid-July. The recommended retail price for the UK market is $315, but early buyers can purchase the device for just $215, and customers will also receive a free pair of Honor Choice Earbuds Clip wireless earbuds.

The new device features a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of an impressive 3,000 nits and a resolution of 464×464 pixels. The built-in 980 mAh battery ensures the device operates for 35 days in maximum power-saving mode, while under normal daily use, a single charge lasts for 17 days. With continuous operation of the dual-frequency L1+L5 GPS navigation module, battery life is 42 hours.
Among the device’s unique features is a specialized soccer mode that records maximum speed during sprints and creates a heat map of movement across the field. There is also a mode for badminton enthusiasts that records the total number of shots taken, their power, and the ratio of open- and closed-racket shots. In terms of health monitoring, the device can track blood pressure fluctuations, measure heart rate, analyze sleep quality, stress levels, and heart rate variability. All these metrics are compiled into a single system for assessing the body’s vitality called Body Energy Assessment.

The manufacturer produces the gadget in only one size – with a case diameter of 46.5 mm and a thickness of 10.8 mm – but the two available color versions have fundamental design differences. For the Shadow Black variant, a case made of recycled aluminum alloy was chosen, bringing its weight down to 41 g. When creating this design, the designers drew inspiration from the air intakes of premium sports cars, calling the concept “Racing Dashboard Design.” The Twilight Brown variant features a more expensive 316L stainless steel casing, which increases its weight to 50 g. Thus, buyers are offered a choice between a lightweight sports version and a more premium version, although their internal components are completely identical.
Thanks to meticulous sandblasting, the case’s surface resembles titanium both visually and to the touch, making the aluminum model appear significantly more expensive than it actually is. Combined with slim screen bezels just 1.3 mm wide and a brightness of 3,000 nits, the Honor Watch 6 has an aesthetic that far exceeds its price range.

The claimed battery life of 35 days makes the Honor Watch 6 a serious competitor to Garmin devices, which specialize in ultra-long battery life, but the new model is offered at a much more affordable price. In everyday use, users will need to charge the watch approximately once every 17 days. The ability to use dual-frequency GPS continuously for 42 hours will fully meet the needs of ultramarathon runners and people who are serious about outdoor sports. Thanks to its 5ATM and IP69 protection ratings, the device can easily withstand swimming and any other contact with water, except for deep-water diving. The soccer mode doesn’t just track distance covered and calories burned – it creates a comprehensive movement map showing which areas of the field the player spent the most time in. Previously, such analytical tools were available only in highly specialized sports trackers.

In addition to its sports features, the smartwatch can monitor blood pressure, heart rate, sleep stages, stress levels, and heart rate variability. The data collected is analyzed by the comprehensive Body Energy Assessment program, which calculates a person’s daily recovery level and fatigue level. The NFC module enables contactless payments via the Fidesmo system, which is compatible with Mastercard and Visa payment cards.

The built-in microphone and speaker allow you to record voice memos. A unique feature that is extremely convenient for everyday life is the ability to connect to two smartphones simultaneously; this displays notifications from both connected devices on the watch screen, which is ideal for users who have separate work and personal phones.
