IFA in Berlin traditionally puts both visitors and their gadgets to the test. This year, Acer’s booths reflected a shift in paradigm: the company made an uncompromising commitment to all-day battery life. One of the biggest attention-grabbers at this year’s exhibition was the innovative 8-inch Project DualPlay Mini concept, which vividly illustrates the future convergence of different form factors. The device literally blurs the line between a compact mobile workstation and a high-performance portable gaming console.
- The design features a built-in physical keyboard that is convenient both for traditional typing and for shooters, as well as a dedicated handheld console mode.

The gaming ecosystem was also expanded with the new 7-inch Predator Atlas 7 handheld console, powered by Intel Arc G3 Extreme processors and featuring a battery of up to 80 Wh for extended gaming sessions on the go. Meanwhile, the premium Predator XB253Q U1 monitor sent shockwaves through the esports community with its unprecedented speed.

The Acer Vero 16 demonstrates a completely new approach to repairability thanks to a carefully engineered modular design. While the race toward thinner bodies once meant permanently gluing components to the motherboard, engineers are now putting greater emphasis on durability and ease of maintenance.
- Users can replace damaged ports themselves thanks to removable covers, without having to replace the entire motherboard.
- The top cover and palm rest are made half from recycled post-industrial aluminum and half from low-carbon aluminum.

For users who need maximum mobility without sacrificing performance, the company introduced the 14-inch Acer Swift Blade 14 ultrabook. It was joined by the 16-inch Swift Air 16, but the compact model became the star thanks to its exceptionally slim and lightweight design.
- The 14-inch laptop weighs an incredible 799 g and is just 12.9 mm thick.
- The chassis is made from a premium aluminum-magnesium alloy and ultra-strong carbon fiber.
- The device is equipped with processors up to the Intel Core 7 350 and a bright OLED display with a resolution of up to 3K.
On the other end of the performance spectrum is the Acer SFF RTX Spark concept, designed specifically for developers and content creators who need a powerful local AI platform.
- The compact desktop PC is powered by NVIDIA’s latest RTX Spark superchip.
- The system delivers 1 petaflop of local compute performance for agentic AI – in other words, supercomputer-level AI performance on your desk, allowing you to run AI workloads without an internet connection.
- The maximum configuration supports up to 128 GB of unified memory for working with massive AI models.
The revival of a legend: Packard Bell
To mark its 100th anniversary, the legendary Packard Bell brand has announced a complete relaunch under the “Tech it easy” philosophy, focusing on accessible, stylish technology for everyday life and bringing a more human approach to gadgets back to the market.
- The new visual identity is based on a constellation of dots that subtly form the letters “P” and “B”.
- The flagship of the computer lineup is the 14.5-inch DotBook laptop, designed for comfortable web browsing and everyday work.
- The brand has also introduced a broad range of lifestyle devices, including the DotLoop vinyl turntable, the colorful DotLine feature phone, DotLook audio glasses, and even the Steasy smart steamer.

What Else Remained Outside the Main Focus but Deserves Attention
The sheer scale of Acer’s booths accommodated a wide range of devices designed for highly specialized tasks. For those who prefer comfortable reading and working with text, the company showcased the portable 13.3-inch EP130K ePaper monitor, which mimics the look of ordinary paper and operates without external power thanks to its bistable technology.
For professionals who need serious multitasking capabilities, Acer introduced the PD163Q P3 display extender, which allows users to connect three 15.6-inch displays to a laptop via a single USB-C cable.
The lineup was also expanded with the portable C350e AI projector, featuring Google Gemini integration and a brightness of 8,000 LED lumens. Acer also refreshed its family and multimedia device lineup with the premium Iconia X16 and X14 OLED tablets running Android 16, as well as the elegant Aspire S 27 and S 24 all-in-one PCs, which now come with Intel Core Series 3 processors and touchscreens with stylus support.
Solutions for local markets: connectivity, mobility and autonomy
Certain announcements perfectly meet the local needs for reliable connectivity, independent transport and secure data handling.
- Uninterrupted connectivity: The Acer Connect X6ES 5G CPE router supports dual connectivity (5G and WAN) with automatic failover, while the compact Acer Connect D5P 5G adapter works with eSIM, nano-SIM, and vSIM.
- Micromobility: The Predator ES Thunder Pro electric scooter, with a peak output of 1,600 W, traction control system (TCS), and 10-inch off-road tires, offers a confident range of up to 70 km.
- Glasses-free 3D: The Aspire G 3D 16 laptop, powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and dual eye-tracking cameras, converts standard 2D content into 3D without the need for additional accessories.
- Local AI: The compact Veriton RI110 workstation, powered by an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, can run AI models with up to 120 billion parameters locally, allowing companies to work with their data fully autonomously and securely.
