Huawei has officially introduced 2 new fitness bracelets at once: Huawei Band 11 and Huawei Band 11 Pro. At first glance, the models are almost identical and have almost identical set of key features, but the difference lies in the case materials, dimensions, and price.
Both devices are equipped with a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 286 × 482 pixels and a density of 347 PPI. The screen supports full touch control, and there is also a physical button on the side for navigation.
The company positions both models as lightweight gadgets for everyday use. The standard version of Band 11 is offered in 2 body options: aluminum alloy or durable polymer. The Pro model has an aluminum alloy case by default.
Materials also affect weight. Huawei Band 11 weighs 17 g in the aluminum version or 16 g in the polymer version, while the Band 11 Pro weighs 18 g without the strap. In terms of dimensions, the Pro version is slightly taller: 43.5 mm versus 42.6 mm for the standard model.
Both bracelets are equipped with a fluoroelastomer strap and have 5 ATM water protection, which allows them to be used while swimming and in conditions of everyday contact with water. Inside, there is a sensor system with a 9-axis IMU module that combines an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer. There is also an optical heart rate sensor and a light sensor.
Wireless connection is realized via Bluetooth 6.0 with BLE support. The devices are compatible with smartphones running Android 9.0 and later, as well as iOS 13.0 and later. Each bracelet is equipped with a 300 mAh battery. According to Huawei, the battery life can reach up to 14 days with moderate use, about 8 days in standard mode, or up to 3 days with the display always on.
As for the price, the difference between the models is significant. The Huawei Band 11 costs about $43, while the Huawei Band 11 Pro is priced at about $80 on the official Huawei online store in the Philippines.
The color options are also partially different. The Huawei Band 11 is available in Beige, Green, White, Black, and Purple for the polymer version, with Black also offered in a polymer version. Huawei Band 11 Pro is available in Green, Blue and Black.
