In the winter of 2027, audiences can look forward to the long-awaited film adaptation of William Gibson’s iconic novel, starring Callum Turner.
The Apple TV+ streaming platform has released the first full-length trailer for the science fiction series *Neuromancer*. The project is based on the novel of the same name by William Gibson, which has become one of the seminal works of the cyberpunk genre. Graham Roland and J. Blakeson serve as showrunners and executive producers, with Skydance Television and Anonymous Content handling production. Filming took place in London and Budapest to best recreate the gloomy and high-tech aesthetic of the megacities of the future.

At the center of the story is Case – an exceptionally gifted hacker with a compromised nervous system, which has caused him to lose access to cyberspace. A mysterious client named Armitage promises to restore his lost skills in exchange for his participation in a risky mission. Joining forces with the mercenary Molly, whose eyes have been replaced with mirror implants, and who hides blades under her fingernails, the hero plunges into the world of digital espionage and comes into conflict with the influential Tessier-Ashpool clan of corporate magnates.

The lead roles are played by Callum Turner (Case) and Brianna Middleton (Molly). The cast also includes Mark Strong (Armitage), Peter Sarsgaard (John Ashpool), Clémence Poésy (Marie-France Tessier), Joseph Lee (Hideo), Dane DeHaan (Peter Riviera), Max Irons (Jean Tessier-Ashpool), Emma Laird (Linda Lee), André De Shields (Julius Dean), and Mark Menchaka (Dixie Flatline).
Attempts to adapt “Neuromancer” for the big screen have been ongoing for several decades, but it was the Apple TV+ series format that ultimately made this complex, large-scale project a reality. The premiere is scheduled for January 22, 2027. On the premiere day, the first two of ten episodes will be available on the service, with subsequent episodes airing weekly on Fridays.
