Garmin has begun rolling out a new stable software update to several of its smartwatch models. The second stable firmware to be released in a single week brings a number of improvements aimed at fixing issues left over from the recent major update.
The company has already begun rolling out the new stable software version for Instinct E, Instinct 3, and Instinct Crossover AMOLED. It hasn’t been long since these devices received the previous stable update. Just a week ago, Garmin released system software version 13.26 for these devices.

The 13.26 update was a major release and included dozens of new features along with numerous bug fixes compared to the previous versions 12.23 and 12.26. At the time, Garmin announced that version 13.26 would be the final build within the 13.xx beta cycle. This has now been confirmed, but the company has already prepared a new stable update for the entire Instinct 3 series.
The new firmware has the number 13.27. According to forum posts, this version focuses on fixing two key issues. In particular, the update fixes a bug that could cause Goal Alert to display incorrectly.

In addition, Garmin reports improvements to the Gear Tracking mechanism, as well as additional bug fixes, although the company does not disclose the details of these changes. The system software update 13.27 is distributed wirelessly in OTA format. Currently, Garmin estimates that approximately 50% of compatible watches have already received notifications about the possibility of installing this version.
