On the night of January 13, russia committed another war crime and launched a combined attack on the Kharkiv Innovation Terminal. The enemy attacked the terminal with two missiles and four drones. According to Nova Post on its official Facebook page, the attack resulted in deaths and injuries. The cargo terminal was almost completely destroyed and the postal terminal was partially damaged.
Four employees were injured during the shelling – three employees of the sorting center and one driver of a partner transportation company. All the injured were taken to medical facilities and are under constant medical supervision, and their lives are not in danger.
Unfortunately, the attack claimed the lives of four employees. Among them are “two employees of the sorting center and two drivers of a forwarding partner. We are in constant contact with their families and provide all necessary assistance,” said Nova Post and named the victims:
- Viktor Parkhomenko, 37 years old
- Taras Vovk, 34 years old
- Yevhen Yermakov, 39 years old
- Dmitry Zakharov, 23 years old.
Customers whose shipments were destroyed as a result of the shelling will be compensated. Nova Post expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and noted that it is providing assistance to the families of the victims and the injured.

The head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, wrote on his Telegram channel that all emergency and specialized services were involved in the rescue operation. During the rescue operation, 30 people were rescued. Two of the victims were unblocked from the rubble of the destroyed structures. “Law enforcement officers are recording another war crime of the russian federation, because the facility is a purely civilian enterprise – there are no military facilities here,” said the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
He added that the attack severely damaged the buildings and caused several fires with a total area of about 500 m². The fire also destroyed cars and some equipment.
This is not the first attack: it is the fourth time that russia has actually destroyed this enterprise, systematically targeting civilian infrastructure.
