HONOR has officially announced the launch of the Robot Phone smartphone. The device’s main feature is the HONOR Titanium Agile Gimbal, a 3-axis mechanical gimbal (4DoF) built into the body, developed using over 100 patents and more than 100 components. The mechanism requires 60 manufacturing processes.

Compared to traditional external stabilizers, the system’s size has been reduced by 65%, while its strength has been increased by 200%. The 2.6-gram titanium motor provides a rotation speed of up to 360°/s, while the steel rotary motor generates a torque density of 120 N·m/L.

The smartphone was developed as part of the Cinematic Imaging Partnership with ARRI. The camera module includes:
- a 200-megapixel main camera with Agile Gimbal gyro stabilization (1/1.28-inch sensor, f/1.6 aperture, support for 10-bit ARRI LogC3 format in ARRI CINEMA mode)
- a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens (1/1.4-inch sensor, 2.7x optical zoom)
- a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (122° field of view).

Thanks to the HONOR H1 image processing processor, support for ARRI LogC3 profiles, ARRI Wide Gamut 3 color space, and ARRI Looks presets, the device offers AI-powered noise reduction algorithms (improving SNR by 8 dB) and an extended dynamic range of up to 14 stops. Video is processed in 14-bit 4:4:4 RAW format and then saved in 10-bit LogC3 and 4:2:2. Real-time preview of ARRI Looks styles and direct export of footage to editing software (such as DaVinci Resolve) with support for factory ARRI LUTs are supported. These technologies will also be featured in the HONOR Magic9 series.
The MagicOS operating system supports physical camera movement modes (Tilt Lock, FPV, FPV Vertical, AI SpinShot) and YOYO Robot Mode. It features AI object tracking, sound source localization for automatic camera panning, touchless gesture control, YOYO Auto Execution for automated task completion, and an open Agent Skills interface for developers.

Device specifications:
- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a new cooling system
- Battery: 7060 mAh silicon-carbon battery
- Charging: 120 W HONOR SuperCharge (wired), 50 W (wireless)
Display: 6.31-inch LTPO OLED, HONOR NanoCrystal Shield, adaptive refresh rate of 1–120 Hz, peak brightness of 6,800 nits, PWM at 4,320 Hz (HONOR AI Eye Comfort system).
