Very little time has passed since the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro was unveiled. Despite this, the company is already actively developing the next generation of its devices. The upcoming Xiaomi Smart Band 11 fitness tracker was recently spotted in the database of Taiwan’s NCC. It has now been revealed that two more new gadgets from Xiaomi have successfully passed the network access approval process in China, and, according to insiders, these devices are part of the upcoming Mi Band 11 lineup.
Which devices have been certified? China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued certification documents for two Bluetooth-enabled Xiaomi wireless devices, registered under the model numbers M2616B1 and M2617B1. According to a tipster going by the username Experience More, these model numbers correspond to the standard version of the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 and the contactless payment-enabled variant, the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 NFC. They will replace the current Xiaomi Smart Band 10 and Band 10 NFC models.

At the same time, data from the UL registration list confirms that the capacity of the new tracker’s built-in battery will be 233 mAh, which is exactly the same as that of the current generation of devices. Another well-known tech blogger, Smart Pikachu, notes that the release of the Mi Band 11 lineup is scheduled for the second half of this year.
To understand the context, it’s worth noting that Xiaomi used a similar coding scheme when registering its previous premium fitness band. The Band 10 Pro model was designated with the model numbers M2551B1 and M2553B1 for the base version and the NFC-enabled variant, respectively. In addition, in May, another wearable device with the model number M2561B1 appeared in the certification registries of Singapore and Taiwan, where it was simply referred to as a “smart bracelet.”

Since the full technical specifications of the Mi Band 11 have not yet been released, it makes sense to analyze the capabilities of the current Smart Band 10 series. Xiaomi’s current standard model features a 1.72-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,500 nits, a 233 mAh battery that provides up to three weeks of battery life, over 150 workout modes, and runs on the HyperOS 2.0 operating system, as reported during the fitness tracker’s debut in China. The advanced “Pro” version offers additional features, including a 1.74-inch display with a brightness of 2,000 nits, heart rate variability monitoring, an integrated GNSS satellite navigation system, and compatibility with the Apple Health app.

Xiaomi Smart Band 10 If the developers retain the same battery capacity in the Mi Band 11, Xiaomi will likely focus primarily on software updates and sensor improvements rather than increasing the battery capacity.
