Ugreen Revodok Pro 11-in-1 USB-C Docking Station review: the definition of OP

Ugreen never knows how to stop. Their offerings often can be described with the word OP, meaning they are “overpowered”, offering maximum capabilities, be it a charger or a power bank. That usually means a steep price, too, but power users are always willing to pay. But is the new dual monitor docking station worth it? Well, do you need 11 ports?

The Ugreen Revodok Pro 11-in-1 USB-C Docking Station offers extensive connectivity options, making it a versatile solution for various setups. With its 11-in-1 connectivity, including dual HDMI, 100W USB-C Power Delivery (PD), 10Gbps USB-C/A data, 1000Mbps Ethernet, SD/TF card slots, and a 3.5mm audio jack, it pretty much does everything.

One of its notable features is the capability to support dual HDMI displays at 4K resolution with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Additionally, the docking station’s HDMI 2 port enables compatibility with 8K UHD displays at 30Hz.

Users can also benefit from the fast data transfer speeds thanks to the 10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 port. Furthermore, the inclusion of 100W Power Delivery ensures fast charging for compatible devices. In a word, that’s quite a package, especially for £109.99/$109.99.

However, it’s important to note that the USB-C port marked with 10Gbps is solely for data transmission and does not support video output or charging.

The Ugreen Revodok Pro 11-in-1 USB-C Docking Station measures approximately 14.5 x 7 x 2 centimetres (L x W x H) and weighs about 309 grams. This compact and lightweight design ensures easy portability and seamless integration into different work environments, providing versatility without compromising on convenience. Overall, the build quality is excellent, with a metal body that feels pleasantly cold to the touch. But I do have one problem with it: a non-detachable cable that’s connected to one end of the dock. The fact that you can’t replace it easily is already a problem, but what I dislike the most is its length: at about 20 cm, it’s just too short. I use my laptop on a stand (read here), and even that makes it too high to use with the dock which now partly hangs in the air.

Throughout the testing process, the docking station consistently recognized connected devices. Testing with a monitor connected via HDMI was enjoyable: there were no issues at all. Performance tests were conducted with an external SSD and a microSD card. We found no discernible performance losses compared to other card readers. Ethernet connection tests revealed consistent download and upload speeds.

Verdict

11 ports is no joke: Ugreen Revodok Pro 11-in-1 USB-C Docking Station can certainly do a lot, and do it good while also looking presentable. My only gripe is the cable’s length and the fact that you can’t replace it easily.
