Škoda Auto is once again participating in Milan Design Week after a successful debut in 2025 and is preparing a large-scale brand exposition at the Palazzo del Senato. This time, the company will present an artistic space that combines art and technological innovation. The exhibition concept is based on creativity and experimentation and introduces visitors to Škoda’s new design philosophy. The central element will be the idea of play and exploration inspired by the process of modeling with clay – this is the motif behind the global marketing campaign for the upcoming Škoda Epiq electric crossover, which will also be presented at the exhibition, although it will remain in camouflage.

“Milan Design Week gives us the opportunity to take the Škoda brand to the next level and present it far beyond the automotive world – as a brand driven by design, creativity and innovation,” says Martin Jahn, Member of the Board of Management, Sales and Marketing, Škoda Auto. – “Our installation brings the Modern Solid design language to life in a playful and immersive way, inviting people to interact with the brand rather than just observe it. At the center of this presentation is Epiq, which clearly reflects our commitment to making electric mobility more accessible and inspiring new audiences through design and storytelling.”

From April 21 to 26, the historic Palazzo del Senato will be transformed into a vibrant exhibition space that combines physical installations and digital elements. The author of the project is the Spanish architect and renowned digital artist Ricardo Orts, who Forbes included in the list of the 100 most creative people in business in 2024. He emphasizes that Škoda naturally integrates into his artistic world, as the brand combines accessibility and lightness with technical depth and a clear design language, and the balance between imagination and precision echoes his own creative approach. For the installation, he used a variety of shapes and colors of plasticine, which reinforces the idea of the upcoming campaign for the Epiq electric SUV crossover.
The exposition will be located in the courtyard of the baroque Palazzo del Senato and will combine the camouflaged Epiq with its artistic interpretation called Epiq Sculpt. The open atrium will be arranged as a space for relaxation and active interaction, where visitors will be able to join various activity formats. The centerpiece will be a digital zone with LED projections, which will allow visitors to learn more about the exhibition theme, the Epiq concept and the Škoda brand itself.

A series of events called Epiq Talks is also planned as part of the exhibition. In particular, there will be a discussion between Škoda Auto’s Head of Interior Design Chan Park and Ricardo Orts. More information and registration is available on the event website.
