This year, the Esports World Cup 2026 is being held in Paris for the first time. The tournament will run through August 23 and bring together over 2,000 players, 200 esports teams, and fans from more than 100 countries. They will compete in 24 game disciplines and 25 tournaments for a share of a record prize pool exceeding $75 million. Lenovo is joining the event’s founding partners – the company will provide the latest Legion desktop PCs and monitors for use in competitions, training areas, broadcast studios, and festival zones throughout the tournament.

“We are delighted to welcome Lenovo as a global founding partner of the Esports World Cup 2026, as this summer we are preparing to welcome thousands of players and millions of fans to Paris,” said Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer of the Esports Foundation. “Over the course of seven weeks, with thousands of matches, hours of broadcasts, and player equipment setups, the technology powering the tournaments is just as important as what’s happening on stage, and we are grateful to Lenovo for providing its cutting-edge systems, which will make our event possible.”

The partnership has already spurred the development of new Lenovo hardware, including the Legion Pro Rollable concept featuring a 16-inch rollable Lenovo PureSight OLED display. It was unveiled at CES 2026. This concept gaming laptop is designed for esports athletes who need a single portable device to prepare for competitions. Its display can expand from 16″ to 21.5″ or 24″. Visitors to the Esports World Cup will have the opportunity to test this device.
