Microsoft has announced a new gaming showcase that will take place in a few days. This is the next Xbox Partner Preview presentation, which takes place several times a year and is dedicated to third-party Xbox projects from major publishers and indie studios.

Xbox Partner Preview

The first Xbox Partner Preview broadcast in 2026 is scheduled for Thursday, March 26 at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern / 5pm UK. The event will be streamed on the official Xbox YouTube channel in 4K quality at 60 frames per second. At the same time, the stream will be available on other platforms, including Twitch, in 1080p at 60 FPS. As before, there will be separate broadcasts with English audio description and American Sign Language translation.

Microsoft said that the presentation will feature “brand-new reveals, world premieres and Xbox Game Pass announcements.” Among the confirmed projects is a new game from Ryu Ga Gotoku, the studio known for the Like a Dragon/Yakuza series. The studio will present its new noir project Stranger Than Heaven, which was previously known by its working title Project Century.

Also during the event, you can hear news from GSC Game World, as the studio is preparing an update on its popular game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It is likely to be new content or even a full-fledged expansion, which will take place on the territory of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Apart from the already known games, Microsoft hints at several surprises. As at previous similar events, a significant part of the presented games will likely receive Xbox Play Anywhere support and become available on Xbox Game Pass on the day of release.

It’s worth noting that this Xbox Partner Preview will feature Asha Sharma, who replaced Phil Spencer as head of Microsoft Gaming. This will be the first time that she will address players from the stage, and not through her personal Twitter account or in separate interviews, as it has been until now (after all, her speech at GDC 2026 dedicated to Project Helix was intended more for developers).
