Acer Showcases New Tablets, Monitors, and a Router at #IFA2025

At its global presentation at IFA, Acer announced a major expansion of its consumer portfolio by unveiling several new products. The company introduced Iconia X and A series tablets, new monitors under the amadana brand, the high-performance Acer CE270U Z OLED display, and the Connect T36 router with Wi-Fi 7 support.

The tech giant also unveiled the Veriton GN100 AI Mini Workstation – a compact yet powerful computer designed for running large AI models locally.

Acer Iconia X Series Tablets

The Acer Iconia X series tablets combine productivity and entertainment features, running on Android. The Acer Iconia X12 (X12-21M) is equipped with a 12.6-inch WQXGA AMOLED display (2560×1600) with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 400 nits peak brightness, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Despite its large screen, the tablet is lightweight at just 500 g and features a slim design. It runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of storage, expandable up to 1 TB. The battery supports up to 16 hours of use on a single charge.

The tablet comes with a 13 MP main camera with flash and a 5 MP front-facing camera. It features four stereo speakers for immersive audio. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS, along with a USB Type-C PD 2.0 port. The model also supports accessories such as a stylus, detachable keyboard, and magnetic stand.

The Acer Iconia X14 (X14-M1N) comes with a 14-inch FHD OLED display featuring slim bezels. It offers up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of flash storage. With AI-powered features, users can control the tablet through gestures, enhance video quality in real time, and take photos with the Smile Camera function. The rear camera is 8 MP, while the front camera is 5 MP. Its battery delivers up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge. The model supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C 2.0, and includes a built-in kickstand for added convenience.

Acer Iconia A Series Tablets

The new lineup also includes the Iconia A16 (A16-M1N) and Iconia A14 (A14-M1N) tablets, designed for both work and entertainment. They feature high-quality displays, long battery life, and AI-powered capabilities. Both models run on Android 15, offering up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage with expansion support. Equipped with processors featuring built-in NPUs, they enable advanced functions such as AI Smart Sensing, AI Super Resolution, and the Smile Camera.

The Iconia A16 features a 16-inch IPS display, while the Iconia A14 comes with a 14-inch panel. Both offer FHD resolution (1200×1920) and are housed in a chassis with a built-in stand. The tablets include an 8 MP main camera with flash and a 5 MP front camera, suitable for basic photography and video calls. Battery life is rated for up to 10 hours on a single charge. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. Additionally, both the Iconia X and A series support Acer Screen Casting, allowing the tablets to function as wireless displays for laptops over Wi-Fi – useful for presentations, creative work, or streaming.

The debut of amadana monitors

Acer introduced two new displays under the amadana brand, known for its minimalist aesthetic and Japanese-inspired design philosophy. The amadana 16APM1QJ is a portable 15.6-inch IPS monitor with wide viewing angles and an ultra-thin body weighing just 0.65 kg. It comes with a stand that allows tilt adjustment up to 90° and supports connectivity via mini-HDMI and USB Type-C.

The second model, amadana 27ART0 P1, features a 27-inch IPS display with a sleek ZeroFrame design. It supports a 144 Hz refresh rate, with additional dynamic modes at 120 Hz and 60 Hz. With 99% color gamut coverage, dual HDMI ports, VGA input, a slim profile, and a convenient docking station for accessories, this monitor is well-suited for both modern workspaces and home multimedia setups.

Another addition is the Acer CE270U Z, a 26.5-inch OLED monitor with a 2560×1440 resolution, 280 Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support. It offers an ultra-fast 0.03 ms response time, HDR brightness up to 1000 nits, and 99% DCI-P3 color coverage, delivering smooth, bright, and vivid visuals. Additional features include built-in 3 W speakers and tilt adjustment up to 25°.

Acer Connect T36 Wi-Fi 7 Dual-Band Mesh Router

Acer unveiled the Connect T36 Wi-Fi 7 Dual-Band Mesh Router, designed for modern digital environments. Powered by a quad-core ARM processor, it supports Wi-Fi 7 with dual-band speeds of up to 3600 Mbps, providing fast and stable connectivity at home or in office settings. The router is suited for 4K video streaming, low-latency online gaming, and efficient operation of smart home devices.

A key feature of the Acer Connect T36 is its support for Mesh technology, allowing users to expand network coverage and scale the system as needed. Its modular design lets you add additional nodes to maintain speed and stability as demands grow. Network management is handled via the Acer Connect app, simplifying setup and configuration. The router includes three RJ45 ports (one WAN and two LAN) and is powered through a standard 12 V, 1 A DC input.

Veriton GN100 AI Mini Workstation

This compact yet high-performance device is designed for local processing of large AI models, reducing reliance on cloud services and associated costs. At its core is the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, capable of delivering up to 1 petaflop of performance. The system configuration includes next-generation CUDA cores, 5th-generation Tensor cores, 20 ARM CPU cores, 128 GB of unified system memory, and a 4 TB high-speed NVMe M.2 SSD.

The Veriton GN100 comes with the NVIDIA AI software stack, enabling researchers, data analysts, engineers, and students to work with popular frameworks and environments. Users can prototype, configure, and test models locally, as well as scale them to cloud or data center infrastructures.

With the NVIDIA ConnectX-7 NIC, two Veriton GN100 units can be linked for joint processing of language models with up to 405 billion parameters. The system also includes Wi-Fi 7 support, four USB 3.2 Type-C ports, an HDMI port, Ethernet, and a Kensington lock.
