FOSSiBOT Unveils the F112 Pro 5G Rugged Smartphone: Built with Sustainability in Mind

The young yet increasingly popular smartphone brand FOSSiBOT has introduced its latest device – the F112 Pro 5G. According to the company, it took two years of development to create its first rugged smartphone that combines durability, eco-friendly materials, and a modern design. The device is already available through the brand’s official store on AliExpress.

The F112 PRO features a futuristic design that combines metal and glass elements to give it a more premium look. Notably, it’s the first smartphone of its kind to incorporate a liquid silicone coating. This material feels smooth to the touch, is skin-safe, and considered more environmentally friendly than conventional materials. Liquid silicone is also more durable and recyclable. The device is available in a distinctive range of colors that further sets it apart.

The rear camera module is designed with a minimalist aesthetic and features a unique shape. The smartphone is equipped with a 50MP main sensor that supports AI-powered features, night mode, and portrait shots with a bokeh effect. Thanks to its IP68 water resistance rating, the device is even capable of underwater photography. The main camera is complemented by a 5MP macro lens, while a 16MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

The F112 Pro is powered by a 6nm Dimensity 6300 5G chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM, which can be expanded by an additional 16GB through virtual memory, alongside 256GB of internal storage – ample space for apps and media. For those needing more, the device supports microSD cards up to 1TB. It features a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a peak brightness of 480 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Under the hood is a 7150mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Other key features of the device include Android 14 out of the box, 5G connectivity, Face ID, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a customizable shortcut button. The global launch of the FOSSiBOT F112 Pro 5G is already underway, and the phone is available through the brand’s AliExpress store or official website at an introductory price of $159.99.
