The long wait for the fifth season of the hit series Stranger Things is finally coming to an end. Netflix has officially announced the release date for the show’s final season. Much like the previous installment, this one will be split into multiple parts – meaning fans won’t be able to binge it all at once. In fact, this time around the season will be released in three separate parts instead of just two.

To mark the announcement, Netflix released a special teaser featuring clips from previous seasons, highlighting where the story began and how far the characters have come. According to the video’s description, Volume 1 – which includes four episodes – will premiere on November 27 at 4:00 a.m. Kyiv time. Volume 2, made up of three more episodes, will follow as a holiday release on December 26, also at 4:00 a.m. The final episode of Stranger Things is set to drop on January 1 at the same time.
It’s been quite a while since Season 4 of Stranger Things aired, so here’s a quick refresher on what to expect in the upcoming fifth and final season.
Set in the fall of 1987, Hawkins is now fractured by dimensional rifts. The group’s mission is clear: find and eliminate Vecna. But he’s vanished, and neither his whereabouts nor his plans are known. Making matters worse, the government has placed the town under military lockdown and launched an intensified search for Jane Hopper, a.k.a. Eleven – forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, an old, familiar sense of dread returns. A final battle is on the horizon, bringing with it a darkness more powerful and dangerous than anything they’ve faced before. To stop it, the entire team will need to reunite – one last time.

Looks like there’s still plenty of time to catch up on all the previous seasons before the final chapter drops.
Meanwhile, Netflix has also shared the first six minutes of the premiere episode of Wednesday Season 2, titled Here We Woe Again. In the opening, Wednesday Addams appears more in control of her psychic abilities and is now determined to track down one of the most elusive serial killers in the country. Of course, she won’t be going it alone – Enid is back by her side.
“The funniest part for us was asking: ‘What would Wednesday do over summer break?’” the showrunners said. “It had to be something dark and completely unhinged.” Season 2 of Wednesday will be split into two parts. The first half is set to premiere on August 6, with the second arriving nearly a month later, on September 3. And one of the biggest surprises: Lady Gaga is joining the cast. She’ll take on the role of Rosalind Rothwood, a mysterious and enigmatic teacher at Nevermore.
