OSCAL has introduced the SPIDER 10, a rugged tablet designed for operation in extreme environments. The device combines solid performance, long battery life, and AI support. It also features a built-in camping light, making it useful for travel and outdoor activities. To mark the global launch, the official OSCAL store on AliExpress is offering a 30% discount from October 10 to 16 – the tablet will be available for $249.99, down from its regular price of $384.60.
The SPIDER 10 is equipped with a high-intensity 1100-lumen flashlight – the brightest of its kind in a tablet. Its output is five times greater than that of a standard flashlight, providing illumination at distances of up to 30 meters. The light supports adjustable brightness levels, as well as strobe and SOS modes for various scenarios.
The tablet is powered by a 20,000 mAh battery, delivering up to 93 days of standby time and up to 84 hours of active use. It supports 45 W fast charging, 18 W dock charging, and 5 W reverse charging, making it a dependable companion for long trips, fieldwork, or rescue operations.
The tablet meets the MIL-STD-810H military durability standard and carries IP68/IP69K certification for maximum protection against dust and water. It can withstand drops from heights of up to 1.5 meters, pressure of up to 2.2 tons, and immersion in water to a depth of 1.55 meters for up to 30 minutes. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which offers five times greater resistance to scratches and impacts. The SPIDER 10 features an 11-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and TÜV Low Blue Light certification, which reduces exposure to harmful blue light. The tablet also supports Widevine L1 certification for 1080p streaming on platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Smart-K speakers deliver stereo sound, while Split Screen 2.0 and PC Mode 2.0 enhance multitasking efficiency. The package includes a stylus for note-taking and drawing. The tablet is equipped with a 16 MP rear camera and a 13 MP front camera, both capable of recording 1080p video.
The tablet is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G81 processor and comes with up to 24 GB of RAM (8 GB physical + 16 GB virtual) and 256 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD cards up to 2 TB – twice as much as most rugged tablets offer. The Atomized Memory 2.0 and Smart Pre-Loading systems optimize performance and ensure smooth operation even with multiple apps running simultaneously.
The SPIDER 10 runs on DokeOS_P 4.2, based on Android 15, and features the integrated Doke AI system, which leverages three leading models: DeepSeek-R1, ChatGPT-4o mini, and Google Gemini AI 2.0 Flash. AI tools such as Hi Doki, ImageX, VidGen, and Soundle assist with text creation, photo editing, video generation, and music composition. Voice control enables hands-free interaction, while system features including Surfline, Focus Mode, Notebook 2.0, EasyShare, Game Mode, Health App, and Realtime Subtitles enhance productivity and user convenience.
