Vladyslav Fomenko, the developer of Remote Reaper: FPV Drone, announced what he described as one of the game’s biggest updates to date. The update is already live and introduces not only changes to core mechanics but also expands the simulator’s content with new features for players.

As in previous patches, considerable attention was paid to optimisation. Thanks to the update, the game has seen a noticeable increase in performance. This has not only made the gameplay smoother, but also freed up technical resources for the integration of completely new systems.

One of the most anticipated features that players have been requesting for a long time has also been implemented: enemy infantry has appeared in the game. Each soldier has a unique appearance, which adds variety. Enemy soldiers react to the presence of your drone: they try to shoot it down or hide behind objects in the environment and inside buildings.

The developer emphasised that this is only the first iteration, so there may be bugs or visual errors, which will be fixed and improved over time thanks to feedback from the community. There are also plans to add new missions involving infantry, the appearance of allied units, and scenarios where ground forces can receive air support. Vladislav Fomenko encourages users to share their thoughts and suggestions to make the system even better.

The update improves interface navigation by adding full gamepad support. While a relatively small addition, it makes a noticeable difference in usability. Ground vehicles have also been refined – their movement now feels more natural and fluid. Vehicles better align with the terrain and respond more accurately to uneven surfaces.

The update introduces the game’s largest map so far – Broken Fields. Battles take place in a small town surrounded by farmland and trenches. Players will also encounter road checkpoints, as well as locations such as a factory, a radio tower, and a military camp. The scale and variety of this map provide more room for tactical maneuvers and new gameplay scenarios.
