Samsung Exynos 2500 specs have leaked ahead of its official launch

-

From next year, with the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, we’ll get to see the Samsung Exynos 2500 processors in action. However, ahead of the official debut of this chip, which is months away, netizens are already getting a glimpse of its performance. From the leak, it becomes clear to netizens and Samsung fans alike that this coming processor will feature a ton of improvements from its predecessor.

The only similarity between this coming processor and its predecessor is the amount of CPU cores it’ll offer. Having a look at the already existing Exynos 2400 chip, this comes with a 10-core CPU configuration in use on the Galaxy S24 series. As for the coming Exynos 2500 processor, it will still make use of the 10-core CPU configuration as well, but from ARM.

To make up the 10-core CPU configuration, this coming processor will bring a Cortex-X5, three Cortex-A730, two Cortex-A730, and four Cortex-A520. The X5 core will clock at 3.5GHz, the A730 will clock at 2.3GHz, and the four A520 cores will focus on efficiency. This coming processor will also make use of Samsung’s coming second-generation 3nm fabrication process.

The Samsung Exynos 2500 GPU, will bring AMD’s Xclipse 950 chip which is based on RDNA technology. With these specifications, we can expect this coming processor to compete against the coming Snapdragon flagship processor. More details on this coming flagship-level processor will become available in the months leading up to its global debut for use on the Galaxy S25 series devices.
