Wargaming and AMC Networks have announced a major crossover between the iconic TV series The Walking Dead and World of Tanks. From November 6 to 17, the game will feature a special Battle Pass edition – The Walking Dead. Players will have the opportunity to recruit five iconic characters from the series to their crews and earn themed rewards, including exclusive 3D styles and a unique custom H3 tank.

At the center of the event are five legendary characters ready to face the chaos alongside tank commanders: the determined Rick Grimes and the ruthless Negan, both available through Battle Pass progression, as well as Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and the Governor, who can be obtained in special bundles. Each character features unique voice acting – notably, Daryl Dixon is voiced by the show’s actor Norman Reedus.

The main reward of the special edition is the H3 combat vehicle, designed in The Walking Dead style. Its menacing 3D “No Sanctuary” customization impresses with attention to detail – a worn hull, metal mesh, barbed wire, and chains evoke the harsh world of survival. The tank also features iconic items from the series, including Daryl’s motorcycle and crossbow, Negan’s bat “Lucille,” Michonne’s katana, and Rick’s sheriff hat.
To fully immerse players in the post-apocalyptic world, tanks can be customized with themed decals, inscriptions, and 3D elements – each a symbol of survival. Among them are the Walker Bait System, a reference to the survivors’ tactic of using music and noise to lure or distract the undead; Saviors’ Machine Gun, wrapped in Negan’s signature red scarf; and many other unique decorative items, each with its own story. All 3D elements can be installed on a wide range of vehicles.

“Hold the line and stay sharp, Commander! The hordes won’t stop, but neither will we. Push through the chaos for rewards worth every shot,” the studio’s representatives concluded in their press release. More details about the new Battle Pass can be found on the game’s official website.
