On the night of November 3, 2025, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of precision strikes against critical enemy infrastructure. As a result of these actions, the Saratov Oil Refinery in Russia’s Saratov region, along with several logistical facilities supporting the Russian military, sustained damage.

According to a statement published on the official Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the strike hit the territory of the refinery, causing a fire in the area of the ELOU AVT-6 oil processing unit. The Saratov Refinery is one of Russia’s oldest oil facilities, processing around 4.8 million tons of crude oil as of 2023. The plant was used to supply fuel and lubricants, including for the needs of the Russian Armed Forces.

In addition to the strike on the Saratov Oil Refinery, Ukraine’s Defense Forces targeted logistical facilities in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. Among the damaged sites were a supply depot in the settlement of Rozkishne and a fuel and lubricant transport convoy in Dovzhansk. These strikes were intended to disrupt supply chains and reduce the logistical support available to enemy units on the front line.

In recent days, the General Staff also reported that Ukrainian forces carried out a strike on the infrastructure of the RN-Tuapse Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. Preliminary data indicate that fuel and oil facilities at the federal seaport terminal in Tuapse Bay on the Black Sea coast were hit. This terminal is one of the largest in Russia, and the damage sustained could complicate export and logistical operations within the region’s fuel sector.

The Defense Forces’ command emphasizes that these operations form part of a deliberate strategy to strike key elements of the Russian military-industrial base, with the objective of degrading the occupier’s capacity to conduct military aggression.

As a reminder, we recently reported that Ukraine struck the Oryol thermal power plant and the “Novobryanska” substation using Neptune missiles. Both facilities supplied electricity to a number of military enterprises in the region, so their incapacitation disrupted the occupier’s logistics and supply chains. Damage to energy infrastructure will complicate the operation of the production and technical capacities that supported the enemy’s military requirements.
