Ukrainian startups participated in the UK’s largest technology conference, London Tech Week. This event marked the demo day for the second cohort of the UK-Ukraine TechBridge Investment Accelerator program, where teams presented their solutions to British investors and the tech community. The program was designed to support Ukrainian startups by helping them enter the UK market and attract international investment.

Over the course of 10 weeks, developers worked closely with British experts and venture capital firms. The program included:
- Mentorship from British “buddy” mentors with experience in securing and providing investment
Lectures, masterclasses, and workshops led by representatives from UK venture capital funds
Opportunities to connect with investors through speed dating sessions, pitch meetings, and one-on-one discussions
An in-person bootcamp in London featuring networking events and discussions with experts from the UK startup ecosystem

The UK-Ukraine TechBridge Investment Accelerator involved over 15 experts from the British venture capital market, including representatives from Affinity Ventures, Skyrora Ventures, Dawn Capital, Morgan Stanley Ventures, Venrex, BackFuture, and others. The program included a total of 19 startups at stages ranging from Late Pre-Seed to Series A, seeking funding between $500,000 and $5 million. Eleven Ukrainian startups had the opportunity to showcase their products at London Tech Week:

- AllClinicalTrials – software to help patients find and sign up for clinical trials

- buzzabout – an AI tool for marketers to help conduct market research by extracting key narratives from social media discussions

“Providing these innovative startups with a platform to present at London Tech Week demonstrates the strength of the partnership between our countries and how we are turning words into action, innovation, and economic growth,” said Gareth Thomas, the UK Minister for Services, Small Business, and Export.

“For the second year in a row, this accelerator has provided incredible opportunities for Ukrainian startups to make their mark internationally. And it’s truly yielding results,” said Oleksandr Bornyakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation. “The 20 startups that participated in the pilot program have already raised over $12 million, and we are immensely proud of our technology entrepreneurs.”
