The SBU Alpha Center conducted a large-scale operation in the occupied Crimea, which resulted in strikes on three warships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Among the confirmed targets are two large amphibious assault ships Yamal and Azov, as well as another combat unit of an unidentified type. In addition, there are reports of a possible hit on the Grachonok anti-submarine boat (Project 21980).

The attack was not limited to the fleet: using unmanned aerial vehicles, Alpha fighters disabled the Dolphin communication network antenna unit and the MR-10M1 Cape M1 radar station. Damage to fuel tanks on the territory of the Yugtorsan oil depot was also recorded.
SBU representatives emphasize that such actions are part of a strategic plan to dismantle the enemy’s combat capabilities throughout the occupied territory of the peninsula. The systematic destruction of logistics hubs and shipyards deprives the aggressor of the opportunity to fully exploit Crimea as a springboard for military operations.

The special service emphasizes that each successful attack on critical infrastructure or the navy has a cumulative effect, gradually undermining Russia’s overall ability to continue its armed aggression. The Ukrainian side assures that the intensity of such operations will only increase until the enemy’s military activity on Ukrainian soil is completely paralyzed.
In general, according to official data as of April 17, 2026, Ukrainian forces have already eliminated 9 large warships, 6 patrol vessels, 6 auxiliary fleet units, 3 transport or landing ships, and one Russian submarine in the Black and Azov Seas.
