Logitech G has officially introduced its latest product to the world – the Logitech G512 X TMR Analog/Mechanical gaming keyboard. This model is designed specifically for gamers who need maximum personalization to make the gaming experience fully adapted to their needs.
The new product marks the transformation of the brand’s approach from conventional static hardware to flexible modular systems that can be customized to the individual user. According to Logitech G CEO Ujjesh Desai, the manufacturer perceives the gaming space as an ecosystem that is constantly evolving with people. According to him, the G512 X embodies a combination of high performance and craftsmanship, becoming not just a working tool but a true extension of the player.
The key innovation of the device is the Dual Swap system, which offers 39 special positions for installing hybrid TMR switches. In this unit, users can freely combine analog and mechanical switches. As standard, 9 Gateron KS-20 magnetic analog switches are already included, primarily for critical gaming keys, including the WASD block. The use of advanced TMR sensors based on tunneling magnetoresistance allows the system to record not only the fact of pressing, but also the exact depth of the key stroke. This feature makes it possible to assign different game actions depending on the pressure force, which is extremely useful in racing simulators, shooters, and other genres that require jewelry-like control precision.
The speed of the new product is ensured by True 8K technology, thanks to which the delay time is only 0.125 ms, guaranteeing an almost instant response to any action. Another feature is the Multipoint Action function, which is implemented using special SAPP rings. This solution allows you to assign two separate commands to a single key: for example, a light touch can be responsible for preparing a grenade, and a full press can be used to throw it, creating a smooth and continuous game cycle. Additionally, the keyboard is equipped with a pair of fully customizable Dual Dials hardware controls that turn the device into a personal control center.
Logitech G offers the model in two sizes – a compact 75% and a nearly full-size 98%, with a choice of black and white colors. The G512 X harmoniously complements the current line of G5 series devices, working in conjunction with the G502 X Plus gaming mouse and the G522 LIGHTSPEED wireless headset.
Aesthetic features include a bright RGB panel with PVD coating that supports dynamic lighting effects. On the back of the headset, there is a special compartment for storing small accessories such as capture pullers, spare lights and SAPP rings. For long sessions, a separate acrylic stand is also available to reduce the strain on your wrists.
