A well-known insider at Digital Chat Station has revealed the most comprehensive technical details of the upcoming OPPO Find X10 Pro Max flagship camera. The key feature of the novelty will be a unique system of three main cameras, each of which has a resolution of 200 megapixels.
At the same time, the physical dimensions of all three sensors exceed 1/1.28 inches, which makes these characteristics unprecedented for the modern smartphone market, as no other mass-produced device currently has such equipment. Earlier, there were also reports that OPPO is working on a gimbal camera that could debut with the Find X10 line. The official presentation of the entire Find X10 series is scheduled for October this year.

Insider data confirms the following configuration: a 200-megapixel main module with a 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 200-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, and a 200-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. This system is complemented by a 3-megapixel auxiliary multispectral sensor. It is not directly involved in creating photos, but is used to analyze the scene and ensure maximum color accuracy. The American company Google and other market leaders have not yet offered similar solutions. It should be noted that OPPO is simultaneously testing another version of the 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 1/2.75-inch size. The manufacturer has not yet made the final choice between the ultra-high resolution 200 megapixel camera and the 50 megapixel alternative.

It’s impressive that the high number of pixels in OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is backed by the impressive physical size of the matrices, because this factor is crucial for image quality. The main sensor at 200 megapixels is comparable to that of the Samsung HP5, but the periscope module is even slightly larger, which is rare for zoom lenses, which usually use smaller solutions. The ultra-wide-angle sensor also stands out among competitors for its size. Thanks to this approach, the smartphone is able to compete with professional cameras without sacrificing the quality of auxiliary lenses. The multispectral sensor plays the role of an assistant, examining data from the light spectrum to improve skin tones and white balance in difficult lighting conditions.

Questions about the final screen and processor specifications remain open. Two types of displays are currently being considered: A 6.89-inch panel with a 2K LTPO resolution or a 6.78-inch option with a 1.5K LTPO resolution. If you choose the larger version, the device will become one of the largest flagships of the year. The second option is more familiar and similar to what OPPO used in the Find X9s Pro line. The heart of the smartphone will be the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 series chipset, manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 2-nanometer N2P process. The Find X10 Pro Max is expected to be launched simultaneously with the vivo X500 series, becoming one of the first devices to use this innovative platform. All models in the series – base, Pro, and Pro Max – will be released simultaneously in October.
