Realme has officially announced the date of the presentation of the new “fashionable gaming flagship” realme Neo 8. The smartphone will be shown on January 22 at 19:00.

realme Neo 8 will be the world’s first smartphone to feature Samsung’s 165Hz Sky Display. The panel uses the M14 luminescent substrate and supports native 165 FPS mode in popular games, including CrossFire: Mobile, Delta Force, and Peacekeeper Elite.

According to the company, the new product will also feature Green Field Eye Protection technology with full-brightness DC dimming. This approach adjusts brightness by changing voltage and current, reducing eye strain compared to traditional PWM dimming. The SVM indicator is only 0.05, and flicker at maximum brightness is practically absent.

In addition, the smartphone supports hardware protection against blue light, is TÜV Rheinland certified for flicker-free operation, and offers AI functions to protect your eyes, including during games. It also features automatic adjustment of the screen color temperature depending on the lighting, similar to True Tone technology.

It is expected that this smartphone will become one of the most interesting gaming novelties of the beginning of the year, focusing on the display and comfort of long-term use.
