Vivo is preparing to launch the vivo V70 series of smartphones on February 19. The lineup is expected to include two models, V70 and V70 Elite. One of the main features may be that the Elite version will be the first V-series device to feature a Snapdragon 8 series processor.
Ahead of the official presentation, a leak has appeared online revealing possible pricing, memory configurations, and pre-order details.

According to insider Abhishek Yadav, the standard vivo V70 may come in two variants: an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version with an estimated price of $510, and a 12GB plus 256GB configuration for about $555. The smartphone may be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow colors.

The vivo V70 Elite model is rumored to start at around $575 for the 8GB plus 256GB variant. The version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage may cost about $630, and the 12 GB plus 512 GB configuration is estimated at $685). It is also reported that pre-orders may open on February 12. For comparison, the previous generation vivo V60 5G started at around $430, and there was no Elite version in that series.

In terms of specs, the vivo V70 Elite may feature a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, presumably the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, combined with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. A 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 6500 mAh battery, and 90W fast charging support are expected. The camera system, according to preliminary data, will include three modules: a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical stabilization, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto module with 3x optical and up to 100x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus is expected.

The base vivo V70 is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and may get some of the display and camera features from the older model. Both smartphones are likely to feature an aluminum alloy frame, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, and Android-based OriginOS 6 with support for up to 6 years of software updates.
