Aston Martin has unveiled a new model that radically changes its traditional design philosophy. The Valen will undoubtedly appeal to fans of powerful and aggressive cars, as in addition to its striking exterior, it boasts exceptional performance.

Before assessing the exterior, it’s worth taking a look at the technical specifications under the hood. The 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine delivers an impressive 840 k.s. and 1,000 Nm of torque. Aston Martin boldly claims that this is the most powerful front-engine car in history. Such a claim may seem unusual, since most cars – particularly sports models like the Ferrari Roma – are equipped with a front-engine layout.
However, in terms of performance, they fall short of Aston Martin’s new model. As for hypercars with power exceeding 1,000 k.s., they predominantly feature a mid-engine layout, where the powertrain is positioned closer to the center of mass. This ensures a more balanced weight distribution between the axles and improves handling.
The Valen even outperforms Aston Martin’s Vanquish by 14 k. s. The new model can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in less than 3 seconds – 0.3 seconds faster than the Vanquish – and its top speed is limited to 344.4 km/h.
In addition to its powerful powertrain, this limited-edition two-seater coupe underwent a comprehensive weight-reduction program, making it 110 kg lighter than the V12-powered Vanquish. This was achieved through a full carbon-fiber body, a titanium exhaust system, and optional 21-inch magnesium wheels.
The driver has access to a specially tuned 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, recalibrated steering software, and an adapted ESP electronic stability control system, all of which work together to ensure maximum driving precision.
All these components are complemented by Pirelli technology, which transmits real-time data from the tires to the car’s dynamic control systems, informing the ABS and traction control system. Combined with the latest suspension springs, individually tuned shock absorbers, carbon-ceramic brakes, and Pirelli P Zero R tires, this creates the ideal conditions for flawless handling in all driving modes.
The car’s exterior gives a distinct muscle car impression, marking a new direction for Aston Martin. The company has moved away from its signature oval headlights and curved grille in favor of a more sculpted front end.
The car features an angular hood with a distinctive upper air intake and a wide fender with large vents to improve aerodynamics. An interesting design choice is evident in the front lighting: the wide rectangular headlights remain inconspicuous until they are turned on. Functional vents are located on the sides, and vortex generators along the sills direct airflow from beneath the car to reduce lift and increase downforce.
At the rear, a solid liftgate replaces the traditional glass and trunk lid. They blend harmoniously with the massive diffuser, four titanium exhaust tips, a narrow full-width LED strip, and a raised rear spoiler, creating an unforgettable silhouette. The interior is designed in a minimalist style, where a sense of sophistication is created through spaciousness and attention to detail. The seats are designed for comfortable long-distance travel, and the wide center console is adorned with 3D-printed ribs, between which the engine start button and gear selector are located.
A nice touch is the inclusion of physical buttons and dials to control key functions. Since the model was developed by Aston Martin’s Q division, buyers are offered a wide selection of colors for the leather and Alcantara trim. In addition to the striking matte red shade, Satin Andromeda Red, which was shown in the official photos, the car looks just as attractive in Neutron White with blue accents in the interior.
The special Q division will produce only 150 units of this model. According to Autocar India, the price of the new model will be just over $2 million. If you manage to quickly finalize the long list of options and personalizations, the first Valen models will begin arriving in owners’ garages as early as mid-2027.
