Ukrainian studio RetroStyle Games announced an open playtest of the cooperative pirate horror Last Pirates: Die Together, which will be held on Steam from April 17 to 19. Along with this news, the developers presented a new gameplay trailer for the game.

In the game, a team of four players sets out to explore a dangerous island, collecting loot and trying to return to their ship alive. On their way, threats constantly arise in the form of monsters, traps, and, oddly enough, their own clumsiness. The gameplay feature is the physics of elastic hands, due to which the interaction between characters often leads to chaotic situations and unpredictable consequences.

The April playtest will be the first opportunity for players to try the game before its official release. You can already apply on the project’s Steam page, and access to the test will be opened gradually closer to the start date. Players can also add the game to their wishlist. Meanwhile, a new trailer is already available on YouTube.

The project is focused on cooperative play, where four players have to work together, coordinate their actions and help each other to complete tasks and bring loot to their captain. The main goal is to find as many valuable items as possible and leave the island, preferably with your hands full of loot.

The gameplay actively uses the mechanics of long arms, which allows you to grab, pull, and destroy objects, creating additional dynamics and unpredictability in the game. In addition, survival plays a key role, as players will have to constantly avoid traps, monsters, and other dangers. In difficult situations, the best strategy is to hide and be careful.
