Today, the innovative Advanced Particle VFX system developed by NVIDIA, which was announced at this year’s GDC conference, has officially debuted. This toolkit provides mod creators with the ability to generate extremely detailed and realistic effects, as demonstrated by WoodBoy’s Quake III Arena RTX project.

This update is a logical continuation of previous developments that added a particle system with path tracing, which allows replacing outdated visual elements of games with modern physically correct simulations.

Thanks to the active feedback from the community, which formed a large list of requests, the developers have implemented almost all of them in the latest Remix update. In particular, particles in Remix now have support for dynamic animations, so modders can fine-tune the change of effects throughout their lifecycle, creating incredible visuals.

The physical engine of the system has been significantly enhanced with complex gravity effects, allowing particles to respond to magnetic attraction or repulsion at certain points in space or move under the influence of directed wind flows. Finally, randomization elements have been introduced, allowing the authors to create variable and unpredictable visual scenes.

At the same time, a new update for Neverness To Everness (NTE) will be launched in China this week, and will be available worldwide in seven days. The update will integrate DLSS Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction, Multi Frame Generation, and path-tracing effects into the game. In addition, the tactical shooter ’83, which has received support for DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution, is entering the early access stage.

Users of GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards will be able to upgrade to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation versions via the official NVIDIA application. The Sudden Strike 5 strategy will be available with DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA support, and the Atomic Heart: Blood On Crystal will be able to upgrade to DLSS 4.5 using the NVIDIA app. An additional nice bonus for Marvel Rivals fans on the occasion of the start of season 7.5 will be a free Thor Midgard Umber costume, which can be obtained in the GeForce Rewards program through the NVIDIA app while supplies last.

Also, the DLSS 4.5 SDK, which includes Dynamic Multi Frame Generation technology, is now available to developers. This provides direct access to the latest iterations of Super Resolution and Frame Generation. Built on Streamline, this toolkit offers a unified method for implementing DLSS features, allowing developers to flexibly select the necessary components, such as ray reconstruction or dynamic frame generation.

If we take a closer look at games that use RTX technologies, it is worth highlighting PRAGMATA by CAPCOM. The plot takes players to a lunar scientific base, where, after the discovery of lunar ore, people learned to create lunafilament, a universal material for copying any object. After the sudden loss of communication with the station, astronaut Hugh Williams and android Diana are forced to confront the hostile AI that has seized control of the facility. On GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, the game delivers an impressive level of immersion with exclusive path tracing that is accelerated by DLSS Multi Frame Generation, enhanced by Ray Reconstruction, and optimized by NVIDIA Reflex technology. For those who want to get the most out of their experience, a special PRAGMATA GeForce RTX 50 Series Bundle is available, which includes a copy of the game on Steam with the purchase of eligible graphics cards or laptops.
