Cubot has officially introduced the KingKong Mini 4, a new smartphone aimed at users who prefer rugged yet compact devices. The handset offers a small form factor, enhanced durability and a budget-friendly price. At launch, it will be available from $99.99 in the brand’s official AliExpress store.
The KingKong Mini 4 demonstrates that a rugged smartphone does not have to be heavy or bulky. With a 4.7-inch form factor, the device combines portability, durability and everyday usability, making it suitable for both urban use and outdoor activities. The HD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate provides smooth visuals, and Widevine L1 support enables Full HD streaming on platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core SC T616 processor, designed to deliver stable performance. It comes with 8 GB of RAM, expandable to 16 GB via virtual memory, and 256 GB of internal storage – sufficient for apps, photos, videos and work files. A 4700 mAh battery provides enough capacity for full-day operation without frequent recharging.
The KingKong Mini 4 carries IP68/IP69K ingress-protection ratings and meets the MIL-STD-810H durability standard. The device is designed to withstand immersion in water up to 5 m, as well as drops and impacts. The smartphone features a 48 MP main camera and a 16 MP front camera, both capable of producing detailed images even in challenging conditions. The Mini 4’s image-processing system is intended to maintain consistent quality across captured shots.
