iPhone 16 schematic has leaked, showing off its new rear camera setup

-

The iPhone 16 schematic has leaked, and it shows off some details on the coming device’s design. A few months ago, leaks about this coming device hit the internet, and part of the things these leaks touched on was the device’s design. Instead of adopting the diagonal rear camera setup, this coming device will revert to the iPhone X-style cameras with a few changes.

According to sources, this change might be a result of the addition of the Spatial Video feature to the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. For now, this feature is exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro series, but it’ll be making its way to the coming 16 devices. To support this feature, the rear camera bump on the iPhone 16 will feature not only a setup change but also changes to its size.

This new schematic is reminiscent of the iPhone X which hit the launch stage about six years ago. However, unlike the iPhone X, the coming iPhone 16 will place its lens outside the camera cutout. The height of the camera cutout is also much on this coming device, and this might pack some Spatial Video technology.

From the Apple iPhone 16 schematic that is now available, we can also see some other details on this coming device. We can point out not only the capacitive touch action button on this device but also the new capture button. Just like the capacitive touch button, this new button will also be a capacitive touch.

Well, it’s good to note that this iPhone 16 schematic is just a pre-production design. There might be some changes to it over the coming months leading up to the series launch date. Until then, this new iPhone 16 schematic will serve as an idea of what we should expect from this device in terms of its design.
