ZTE Axon 40 Ultra hits the US market

In May, ZTE announced the release of its flagship ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. Today, this smartphone hit the US market, where the price tag starts at $799.

The new ZTE Axon 40 Ultra carries a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8 to 16 GB of RAM, and 128 GB to 1 TB of storage. The front panel contains an uninterrupted 120 Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display with a selfie cam under the screen. All this will be powered by a 5000 mAh battery with support of 65W fast charging.

As for other features, the smartphone will have a slot for two SIM cards, two speakers, a fingerprint scanner under the display, a triple main camera (with two Sony IMX 7 sensors, Star Enhancement, AI enhanced Constellation Connection, Super Night Video and Dual OIS and EIS to stabilize the entire system) powered by Android 12.

As for the software, ZTE promises to release security updates every 3 months (without mentioning how many years this support will last), as well as to update the device to Android 13 by the end of August.
