Amazfit is preparing to introduce two new smartwatches to the market – Active 3 Premium and T-Rex Ultra 2. After the global announcement last month, the brand launched a teaser campaign for both models, but the exact launch date has not yet been announced.

The T-Rex Ultra 2 is positioned as a more rugged and protected option. It features a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protection. The design includes a bezel and back panel made of grade 5 titanium, which emphasizes the focus on increased durability. The device is water resistant to 10 ATM and has received dual submersion certifications, making it suitable for use underwater.

For outdoor use, the watch supports 6 satellite navigation systems at once and is equipped with full-color global maps. The amount of permanent memory is 64 GB. Additionally, there is an integrated dual-mode flashlight with adjustable brightness and a special Boost mode for maximum power. A green light mode is also available to minimize interference with night vision devices. For safety reasons, a separate SOS signal function has been implemented.

The T-Rex Ultra 2’s battery life is claimed to be up to 30 days in standard smartwatch mode, and with continuous GPS tracking, the device can operate for more than 50 hours.

The Active 3 Premium is aimed at users who need a smaller, more fitness-oriented device. It has a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The screen is also protected by a sapphire crystal and housed in a 45 mm stainless steel case, which is complemented by 4 physical control buttons.

The watch has built-in running workouts powered by Zepp Coach. Support for 6 satellite systems ensures accurate navigation, and offline maps are available. There is 4 GB of internal memory for storing applications and data. The battery life of Active 3 Premium is up to 12 days in a typical usage scenario and up to 7 days under heavy load.

Both new products are designed for different usage scenarios: T-Rex Ultra 2 is designed for extreme conditions and outdoor activities, while Active 3 Premium is more suitable for daily fitness monitoring.
